Made reservations today for Beausoleil on Valentines with the wife. Been looking at the menu and a bunch looks good.

Thinking about the rabbit or duck for entree. What's everyones opinion of the place?

Thanks.

Edit: I know I've seen threads on this place before but I searched and didn't find anything. I think I remember people liking it.

I went for lunch with my wife the other day and got the Gumbo and a Buffalo Chicken sandwich. The gumbo was really good but I didn't care for the sandwich.

The duck is excellent. I highly recommend the boudin balls as an appetizer. Cocktails are also very good.

I like it a lot...

Seared scallops app is great, as are the truffle fried oysters. Crab cakes are great too.

I haven't had the duck there, but the shredded rabbit is very good. The last time I went I tried the braised veal cheek. It was OK, but I enjoyed the other items mentioned much more.

Thanks guys. My wife loves the boudin balls from Chimes so I know if she likes those, she'll love those from Beausoleil.

I usually love duck dishes......those oysters sound good too.
