DJ Durkins named recruiter of the year by Rivals.Others listed were Dameyune Craig & Odell Higgins from Fla. St.,Jeremy Pruitt & Kirby Smart from Ala,Ed Orgeron from USC,Derick Lewis from Fla.LSU didn't have anyone on the list of top 25.

Why would we?
Seems our staff is moving more towards getting extremely raw talent and doing a better job at developing them.

Durkins deserves it if he was able to talk any talent into participating in that shite show in Gainesville.

Who'd he get? Hard pressed to believe anyone had the year Pruitt did for Bama. Though in all honesty Orgeron could win this every year. That guy basically is involved with every recruit that goes through USC. Every recruit mentions him no matter the position.

Durkin is in charge of recruiting North Carolina. He was the main recruiter for Humphries and Bullard, both top 10 players Nationally who signed with UF.

I'm assuming he got credit for Ledbetter as well. I don't frequent Rivals since they're worthless so I haven't read the article. Those 3 alone are good gets. Really like Ledbetter and Humphries. Think Bullard is too high but he's got a ton of talent.

Ledbetter is a really good player, I agree. Bullard has the potential to be a big time player at the next level, but I'm not sure if he's a 5* either. I agree that Rivals sucks as well, but it's better than Scout or ESPN.

I like Scout but mainly because of the thorough evals the LA guys do. I also think they rank the positions well but the site is just not very good on the eyes. I like 247 the most. Again mainly for how dilligent they are with evaluating LA kids but I also like Simmons,Shurrburt and the vision the site has. Lucky knows what he is doing when building a recruiting empire.
