I'm looking for somewhere to get my construction loan and permanent financing afterwards. Any bank recommendations in BR?

Ask your builder who he deals with. If the rates are comparable, go with them because the builder needs to be approved by the lender as well.

In that case can anyone recommend a good builder. I have few already I will get bids from, but am looking for maybe one more who might be a little more eager for work.

I'm getting my construction financing through E federal Credit Union. Will either go with E fed (who simply shops for the best rate and sells the loan to them). Or go with Chateaux Mortgage when it comes time to convert to permanent financing.

I used Fidelity bank a year ago when I built my house as my normal bank didn't do construction loans.

Fidelity was great. The loan officer was DJ Loland at the one in Duchtown at the time but I've been told that they moved him to another location. I would highly recommend him, was a pleasure to deal with during a very stressful time of building a house.
