The Legacy of Tom Brady

Has it been tarnished to a certain degree after tonight?

The man has been to 5 SBs and won more than half of them. He completed, what 15 passes in a row? He put his team in position to win, and they just didn't get it done.

Now he can't say his loss was because of a fluke lucky catch

Still one of the best ever. But he's no Jim Kelly.

No.
He owns Peyton in the postseason, Eli owns him. That's all this proves.

He played extremely conservative all game, never really made the great plays you expect an elite qb to make. He never wowed today

That's kind of how I feel, although I don't think this loss should hurt his legacy at all. I do think that he missed a chance to improve his legacy though

The only legitimate drop was Hernandez. The Welker and branch "drops" were shitty passes thrown behind them. That is 100% on Brady.

that idiotic safety was on Brady, and that interception looked like something a genius like Jamarcus Russell would throw. Brady and Belichick treat the Super Bowl like it's a pre-season game. Wasted possessions and opportunities surrounding a few brilliant drives. Blue collar football like the Giants played will beat that kind of shite 9 times out of 10.

In this case, going 3-2 is better than going 3-0.

He had that 20 yarder with Gronk, launched another 50 yarder when Gronk had that 1 on 1.
Its not like he was captain check down, the offense is designed to take advantage of the LBs that have to be left on the field to counter the TEs.
