Malcolm White has sent letters of apology UK player Anthony Davis and Coach Calipari, saying he acted out of frustration, not malice, in his hard foul during last week's game.

I agree. Let him sit for a little while. And I'm not buying the no malice part 100%. I saw White pause and think about it before he acted.

Agree. If we are going to lose games then TJ should at least send a message that we will lose with some dignity.

Sadly, I think Ole Miss is still laughing at us for taking Malcolm off their hands...

I don't know about that. Have you seen how terrible they are?

Maybe when we played them. They are pretty damn good now.

Yeah maybe so. Better at least. Not sure about "pretty good".

Did Cal ever apologize to UMASS and Memphis St when he cheated, left em and put the schools on probation and/or had their final 4's taken away? Just sayin, has nothin to do with Malcolm White (BTW I agree what he did was shitty) but I really cant stand that prick Caliperi. Im glad there are public figures like Bob Knight not afraid to call his arse out.

Yall really think that MW was the author of that apology? The whole thing was originated, written and choreographed by the LSU Sports Information Dept.

Well, I'm not sure BK should be calling any other coaches out for their actions.

Yeah Calipari is a sleaze ball.

I love how Kentucky fans cling on to the fact that he's never been punished by the NCAA, despite that two programs under his tenure have had victories/Final Fours removed and probation.

He's not even that great of a game coach. He can recruit clean (kind of) now because of his NBA pipeline, but he's an extremely overrated basketball knowledge. All of his teams miss free throws, play undisciplined basketball when challenged, and lack veteran leadership. Bob Huggins just slapped the John Wall team around with a 1-3-1 two years ago, and Calipari made no adjustments.

/rant

I didn't mind the hard foul by Malcolm. It was malicious, but I think it sent a message to the team. After that, we started playing better despite the insurmountable lead.

Good. At least that means they're frustrated and mad that they're 2-5 in the SEC. They know they are a better team than they show.

I don't have a problem with the foul.

White was caught up in the moment and wanted to do anything to avoid an embarrassing dunk in the PMAC. I'd say his foul was driven more by adrenaline than by malice.

The appropriate penalty was given, let's move on.

The foul was 100x more embarrassing to White and to the LSU team than any dunk could be.

I guess I'm in the minority, but I didn't think it was that bad - a flagrant foul, sure. Nothing more than that.
