Diamondbacks have ridiculous minor league pitching talent.

Don't agree with the Mariners list after number 5 (putting a 28 year old reliever on there?), but the system lacks depth so a number of guys could've been there.

Man my boy colvin is slipping. He was number 1 last year after cosart and them got traded. Now number 8. He needs to have a bounce back year. He was hurt a lot of last year.

Did a feature on Minnesota Twins' number one Miguel Angel Sano last summer. Kid is a beast. Documentary coming out on him and how he was courted by major league teams in D.R. as a 16 yo. Played at 17 in Elizabethton, Tenn. last year in rookie ball. Best prospect I've seen in Appy League since Joe Mauer and Matt Garza, both who played in ETown. Kid has sick power and great arm in field, but still very raw and a lot to learn. He'll end up with Yankees or Red Sox before its over.

The Padres are stacked beyond belief. No doubt in my mind they are going to be a perennial contender

Big time lefty arm. With the pitching prospects we have that are close to MLB ready, we were able to land Cahill from Oakland for Jarrod Parker. I am loving our 1-2-3 of Kennedy, Cahill, and Hudson.

Sano should have been a Pirate.

Still pissed to this day that he isn't.

I had no idea that the 2 words
quote:

Padres
and
quote:

contender
could be put in the same sentence together.

I think the astros have 3 out of their top 10 that were drafted by them. the rest acquired in salary dumps last two years.

I can't believe DeShields is listed as the #8. He has done nothing but look incredibly raw and out of place and he's got a long long way to go.

Villar at #4 is a head scratcher too.

Most teams don't have 10 legit prospects. Being the #8 prospect for anybody is usually meaningless. If you're not top five, odds are against you.

Or if you're an Oriole, limit that to top three.
