Shell and they should be doing a hiring in the coming months; thou they have been focusing on hiring veterans and are actively recruiting on bases right now

My father worked for Baker for 25 years. He started off making around 35k in the late 80's and retired making $2000 a month in base pay and $45/hr when he was on a rig.He just had a geology degree and dealt with drilling fluids but got extra training to become an operator when the industry tanked in the 80's.

They have no reason to and I know a lot of operators that make in that area. I am not talking about guys just starting out all have 20+ years experience, they could have been hired for foreman jobs cant remember exactly. With bonuses and over time operators working for majors can pretty close to 100K.
