I never went there, but always remember seeing a restaurant(?) located (IIRC) at the intersection of I-10 and Causeway or Clearview that was made out of the fuselage of a plane, any of you older guys ever go there? What was the name of the place?

Yep, the Crash Landing. My dad used to go there after work. Later it became a teen disco--I went there when I was 17. Cool place, probably shut down in early 80's?

Odd that this got moved to the FaDB, this was a question of nostalgia more appropriate for the OT. This was not meant for a discussion of it's quality or anything current.

Whatever!

That plane went down my street,(Cleary Ave.) when I was a kid. The wings were not on the plane at the time. Never did get a chance to go.
