Going to take a few days this next weekend down there. Looking for some good seafood recommendations. Thanks.

In the Daytona area I always go to Aunt Catfish, Inlet Harbor, River Grille...used to have a lot more restaurants but they all went away. Martins is still right on the road next to the beach in Flagler. It used to always be packed. I haven't really eaten at many places in St. Augustine but I do remember one place called Santa Maria that was pretty good.

Lived there for a year. The resteraunts are pretty terrible. I'm having trouble thinking of a good one.
I'll get back to you.

I've heard good things about Columbia, but I haven't been...
Conch House is alright for the area, but wouldn't fly here in Louisiana.

Conch House does have those cool little huts that sit out on the water.
Other than that, if you have lived in LA for any length of time, you will likely be disappointed with how they prepare seafood in FL. Just My opinion.

They had a couple place that served good snow crab on A1A . Can't remember exact names but you will see them if you drive from Ormand to Port Orange on the strip.
Besides that for seafood is not that great. They have a Bubba gumps, at the Ocean Walk but that is average and over priced.
They have an oyster bar that is average. I think it's called oyster house or something like that.( pretty good place to watch a game or shoot some pool ) It's kinda close to Razzles night club.

Well they're not that close to each other but here goes.
In st aug THE BEST by far IMO is caps on the water up in vilano beach.
Go downtown st aug and turn right by the carousel (school of death and blind) and head over the vilano beach bridge. Head north on A1A in vilano and you will see e signs. Great seafood which is all fresh and a phenomenal atmosphere right on the IC canal. Go at sundown you won't be disappointed.
Colombia is a great restaurant downtown. Definitely get the paella and skirt steak.
Osteens has some decent fried seafood but nothing special compared to home. It's not far from the st aug lighthouse.
I HIGHLY recommend La Cocina mexican restaurant south on us 1 past the car dealerships in st aug. my favorite restaurant in town and wonderful people working there.
The tasting room downtown in st aug is a bit pricey but has good tapas, a nice atmosphere and a great wine list.
Hit me up if you want more info on st aug. Its a great town and I miss it dearly. Csmit55@gmail
Eta I lived in Daytona for 8 months and absolutely can't recommend anything good about anything
Eta again. If you go to conch go on Sunday for reggae Sunday.
