I'm gonna brown 2 pounds of ground beef. Drain and set aside. Then put 1 bag of small pasta shells in a glass baking dish...par boiled. Then pour the beef over the shells. Then sprinkle some minced garlic, some red pepper flakes and top with a large jar of Monjuni sauce. Cover with foil. Bake in the oven at 350 for 20 minutes.

sunday is the only day that i don't eat leftovers. i really enjoy cracking a beer and lighting the pit on a beautiful day like today.

sunday is the one day that i have time to cook and really enjoy drinking a few ones.

don't waste this day by eating leftovers. go outside and cook.

Fried chicken from the Old country store in Lorman Ms. Old black dude that runs it makes the claim that it is the best fried chicken in world. Don't know about that, but it is some damn good fried chicken.

Years ago I had the pleasure of eating some chicken cooked by an old(to my eyes) black woman north of Natchez(integration was still on the way to be extablished)on a large plantation/cotton farming operation. I would have to say it was the best in my life, and had mad crazy gravy to go on the spuds.

My Sunday Lunch was a big breakfast at Lee's Drive In in Hammond.

French Toast, scrambled eggs, bacon, and biscuits with Country Gravy.
And Coffee.

Awesome.
