I would say White, bass, ludwig, and some will say Courtney but I disagree with Courtney. I think he could develop into a decent player. He should have RS last season.

It's the coach that's not SEC caliber. The talent is there.

Maybe not talent like Duke, UNC, UCONN, et al, but we have talent to be better.

When I saw that thread about TJ's record to date..... Geez, that's pitiful.

I think the kids play hard but poor Ludwick is so weak, Bass isn't a scoring threat, White is just a foul machine with no offensive game, and Courtney's shot looks scarey although he hits a few when wide open.

All of them are probably good enough to be on some team in the SEC just doubt they'd get as much playing time at most places.

I just have this feeling courtney will turn into a solid player. He can play the 3 and 4. He can hit 3's on a consistent basis. He just has to work on his d.

I agree, they're talented, but not like major BB powerhouses.

Exactly what I was saying. All this comes down to coaching. TJ isn't what the team needs. I can't believe he got Hickey to come here. That kid's good. Small but good.

So how do you explain the success in TJ's first year?

Are you serious, he won with healthy brady's players. With a healthy taz and chris johnson anyone could have coached that group. Not to mention MT5.
IMO turner, JOB, Hamilton, Hickey are the only true SEC caliber players.

So you're saying there is no talent on this team which is the opposite of what the poster I responded to said.

I think yesterday showed the difference between talent and elite. We do not have one kid that would be in Kentucky's rotation. Grant they are #1, and deservingly so. I think the four guys I mentioned are very good, and would have thought in TJ's fourth year we would be more competative against a Kentucky, especially at home.

Not a flame, a serious question. Ralston Turner had a 5 minute stretch against Witchita, a few 15+ games Nonconference his freshman yr, and hit one big shot against Marquette in transition. I go to every home game and watch all the road games that are on TV. He doesn't rebound or defend well. He has to look down when dribbling so he can't drive or move to create a shot. Why is he seen as a good player?
