WVU just got screwed @ Syracuse

With about 6.2 seconds left or so in the game WVU launches a contested 3 to take the lead that doesn't go, however the center gets the rebounds and lobbed it for 2 and the tie. Orange player comes and swats the ball out of the goal on a CLEAR AS DAY goal tending, it was not called.
WVU goes on to miss the winning 3 and lose the game.
Anyone just see that?

That was a terrible call, how Huggins was able to avoid a T there is beyond me. I would have been like a baseball coach in that refs face.

Yeah that was pretty bad, what exactly were the refs looking at? I thought it looked strange from 60-70 feet away that the camera is showing and they are 20 feet away. It's a fricking shame

NCAA officiating it just awful. Can't even muster a basic call.

You know what the worst thing is, Doug Gottlieb is trying to defend the call saying it's the midcourt officials call and he was on the other side. While that is true, any of the 3 refs could have seen and therefore called that one, blatant.

I just watched as the entire WVU team on the court threw their arms up in celebration at first then in complete confusion.
The entire bench jumped up in disbelief as well. I don't get how you can miss that call.

Everybody who watched on TV saw it and everyone on that side of the court saw it. How 3 refs missed it is mind boggling.

The Radio announcer playing on a loop on ESPN now...was screaming it was goaltending during the play about 5 times...and calling out the officials...wondering "what are they looking at?"

Refs hiding behind the "in the last minute let the players play". How bout make the right call whether there is 19:52 left, or 00:02. Refs have flat out blown games this year (Western Kentucky/ULL 6 men on floor), and yet they don't get fired like coaches do. Get the call right!!! Time for instant replay!!!!

But when did Syracuse become teflon? The call today, the "forgiveness" for playing like shite without Melo (if UK had an academically ineligible player it'd be the end of the world) despite being pimped as the deepest team in the country, and little scrutiny over their pedo situation definitely raises the question IMO.
