What is the attraction to Jeremiah Briscoe?. Is it just Luck? How will this affect our final ranking?. (and do we care?)

He is a 4 star on espn but if he was a 2 star I don't think they really would care.

At least we would know that the option would not be an option.

If ESPN is right looks like we are competing against Baylor, Lamar, Sam Houston State and Stephen F. Austin for his services?

This is the kind of kid who usually go to Missouri or Texas Tech and end up being better QBs than the projected 5*s. He's not completely mature yet, physically, but he is technically sound. You never know, but I would trust the LSU coaches.

After reviewing his highlights he reminds me of Jarrett Lee, he has a similar throwing motion to Lee. Seems to be a Gunslinger.

maybe they see something they think they can get out of him, who knows

could just be a project too, in case something happens. I always have felt that way about JJ too....and something did happen , let's hope we don't have that road to travel again

For the love of God, please stop the star gazing. So what you are saying is that no 2 star or less rank QB in college football history has ever made an impact

This kid is a lot like Lee, but he won't be thrown to the wolves. Given the players ahead of him he can take his time to develop and challenge for playing time his senior season. Of course, everyone will complain then because he will start ahead of some younger whiz kid.

LSU is getting pretty far down on its list for QBs it seems.

If Mett is one and done we only have 2 QBs I guess.

First, I'm not exactly sure what God's love has to do with the question, but setting that aside I'm simply asking what the attraction is to this kid (as opposed to Jake Larson or Greg Windham or
Derek McGinnis or any number of similarly rated players). Looking at players rated 2* is not what I would conventionally refer to as star gazing (where a thread on Jameis Winston just might).

Not that I lack confidence in our coaches, I've just read more than a little that leads me to believe that this guy gets a bit of a halo from Luck... Just want to know what sets him apart (other than being a 6' 3" ginger)? Fair question?

Tom Brady ran the same time at the NFL Combine. Slid to a 6th round pick. We all know how this story panned out.

When I made up my first mock class for 2012 (I keep a personal spreadsheet and usually update my predictions about every month), this was the QB I had in it. No lie.
