Unfortunately the lamb pizza was crossed off the menu with a black sharpie so I started with the jambalaya and Irish Channel Stout.

After seeing the jambalaya on the menu, I realized that I had tried it before at Wednesday at the Square. It had a great spice to it and the pork and black eyed peas were a nice twist.

My friend ordered the soup of the day, which was a seafood and sausage (I think) gumbo. I only tried a little, but it seemed a bit bland and not very well seasoned.

Since the lamb pizza was no longer on the menu, I went with the Slammer pizza, which had chicken, andouille, coppa, cheddar, and mozzarella. They were pretty generous with all ingredients and the pizza was cooked well. I really enjoyed their smoked coppa.

I didn't try it but the Crescent salad with Chicken, bacon, blue cheese and walnuts looked good and my friend said he liked it.

When we walked in two parties were leaving and no one else was in the place the entire time we were there so the service was very fast. The two bartenders/ servers were really nice and she comped my beer which is always appreciated.

I'll definitely be heading back here soon to try some other things on the menu.
