Advice on what hockey game to attend while in NY/NJ

I have these choices for a trip I'll be taking next week to NYC:
Penguins @ Devils or Flyers @ Rangers?
Never been to a NHL game and very excited!! Should I stub hub or try to score a ticket outside the arena?
I also may go to a Nets game or Knicks game but I've seen plenty of NBA games so I'm not sweating that as hard

rangers game or knicks game. msg is an incredible sports venue and you wont be disappointed.

Last I remember, Devils tickets (good seats) can be found for real cheap on Stubhub. Can't argue with support for your other choice though.

I would say Pens @ Devils IF Sidney Crosby was playing.
But since his brain is mush, go with PHI@NYR.
Although Malkin is the best player in the league right now, no Crosby and no Staal makes me

I'd go to MSG. Check stubbing and see what prices are going for and go from there.

Flyers at Rangers no doubt. I went to an Islanders vs Rangers game at msg a couple years ago and it was great.

- The Devils aren't involved, and they will kill your itnerest in hockey
- Philly can score from all four lines, which is fun to watch

Definitely Flyers at Rangers (as everyone has said).
The Devils have a much nicer arena, but the Rangers are still in MSG, which is the greatest arena in all of sports (though, as mentioned, not as nice as the Prudential Center). And beyond that, both the Flyers and Rangers are better than the Penguins and Devils this year and the atmosphere will be much more intense.
If Crosby was playing, I might say Penguins at Devils, just because he could arguably end up the greatest of all time (or at least up there with Gretzky and Lemieux) when all is said and done and this would probably be the only chance you'd ever have to see him play. But him being out makes this decision a no-brainer.

My initial thoughts were the penguins and devils would be a good value and id get the nhl experience but after hearing the responses im going to see the rangers. I dont want to sell myself short... if im going to pop my cherry then the premium of MSG should be well worth it. Thanks for the real talk everyone. I'll bump in a few weeks with a post match update
