Yona and Blade and Soul are good.

Ixion Saga is more comedy I think. I only watched a couple episodes.

Started Yona, so far, so good. After looking into Ixion a bit more I took it off of my queue. I'm with you, I doubt I would have made it far.

I was hoping .hack//SIGN was on crunchy, but alas it isnt. I have seen several recommendations for it.

It is on Hulu.

Hulu has an awesome anime collection.

First Golden Age Arc Berserk movie is on Netflix.

I still maintain Berserk is tGOAT even if the recent movies don't do the story justice.

I liked the first two Berserk movies. The third was just weird and basically became Japanese cartoon porn. It was unsettling and not something I'll watch again.

Damn I thought the third was the best one.

The thing I don't like about how this new trilogy is compared to the old series is how you start out meeting Guts after everything from these movies takes place. So you want to know what made him that way and then they show you the backstory.

Griffith and all he does to Casca right in front of Guts is what sets him on his hell-bent path of revenge while facing insurmountable odds

Maybe I need to watch the actual series.

I've been wanting to read the manga, but I just haven't had the money to waste.

Well there's some crazier shite than what you saw in movie 3 in the manga.

Berserk is gritty. A lot of the stuff you hear horrible people say in the ASOIAF books, that type of stuff happens in Berserk.

The series is dated. It was done in 1997, but it's told a bit differently and both the movies and the series includes some things that the other leaves out.

You can torrent the manga if you just want to read it.

I ordered a few Studio Ghibli blurays on Amazon. I got Princess Mononoke in today, preordered Spirited Away for its June release, and Grave of the Fireflies is temporarily out of stock. I don't know how many more times I'll watch GOTF, but it was on sale (no longer) for 9.99 so I couldn't pass up the deal. I'm about to pop in PM to see how it looks as this is the first time I'll see it in HD.

PM looks awesome in HD. It is about time Spirited Away gets an HD release. Been waiting forever for it.

I wouldn't buy GOTF. You'll never want to watch it more than once anyway.

Kiseijuu: Sei no Kakuritsu (Parasyte) just finished up (it's on hulu). Really good IMO, although it ended kind of abruptly.

I just saw they made a live action version of it too.

If you have not seen Death note or Code Geass, I highly recommend you do so when you have the time. 2 of the best series I have ever seen.

Stein's Gate is another one you should check out.

I thought it was solid. Thought they could of done a lot more with it, but it seemed to get rushed and condensed at the end. It was enjoyable though.

I need a new series Scruffster. I havent been able to get into a show in months. I tried Btooom! but it didnt do it for me.

Actually, I take that back. I normally dont like Gundam shows, but Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet has been alright. Just not an episode turner.

I would like to get into a show that as more than 2 seasons worth of episodes for once. I am really getting tired of waiting on the next season for the 5 shows I really enjoyed.

I had the Fark board throw it together, thought you might like it.

I've always enjoyed epics and action. As far as anime goes SAO, AoT, Yona, Akame Ga Kill, Noragami, Kaze No Stigma(sp?)Log Horizon, Harlock: Space Pirate, . I would love to try .Hack but I don't have Hulu anymore, and don't plan on getting it. Unless someone wants to help a brudda out.

I thought about trying Fairy Tail. Seems...eh.

I also only like certain kinds of animation, if you can't tell by the shows I have listed. Only show I have liked that isn't that style is Knights of Sidonia.

Is Expelled from Paradise any good? Seems kind of like LH and SAO in some ways. Same question goes for Moribito and Fate/Zero.

Just saw that Inuyasha is on Netflix, I haven't watched that in over a decade, but I might give it another shot. I don't really remember much.

There was another show on Toonami for awhile, maybe you can remember it's name. I think it was kind of an Action/Harem. Had some dude who fought things(I think), but he lived with several different people, including a crazy chick who was half cat. Was always hugging and grabbing him. Not much to go on, but if anyone knows it, Scruffy does.

Thanks Scruff.

I just finished drinking and eating and I have some ideas for you, but I just wanted to address this first.

That show was Tenchi Muyo.

I'll give you my recs tomorrow. Sorry. A bit drunk.
