Same. Today was my birthday and I had to spend the whole day working too.

Such is adulthood.

Stay in college. Real life blows.

I did rewatch FLCL last weekend, and I was reminded why I love it so much.

HARU HARU HARUKO FOR THE WIN!!

It's a show called FLCL (Fooly Cooly) and I can't really tell you what it's about because I'm not really sure.

Nah, here is the MAL synopsis.
quote:

Naota is a normal Japanese 6th grade boy (although a little cynical), but when his older brother leaves for America to play baseball, his brother leaves his homeless 17 year old girlfriend Mamimi behind. Mamimi is sending mixed signals and advances to Naota, and he doesn't know what to do about her. But to make matters worse, Naota's world is totally turned upside down when he is run over by a woman on a Vespa. During their first encounter, she hits him over the head with her bass guitar, which then causes a horn to grow out of his forehead. She calls herself "Haruko" and her presence changes Naota's life to even further insanity.

Just know that the show is CRAZY. It's pretty wild of a show, but the music is great and Haruko is funny as hell.

I have it sitting on my hard drive right now, but it'll probably be a while before I end up watching it. Still need to catch up with all of my shows for the current season, then finish Kara no Kyoukai, then finally I'll be able to start a new show

So maybe in a few months...

True, so that would only take a couple of hours... hmm.

Might do that later then

Just finished Death Note.

I half way expected the ending but was sort of disappointed. I was hoping for something with a little more bang.

I always stop at episode 25 and pretend it ends there. To me it really goes down hill after that point.

Finished Steins Gate and loved it. Moving on to Trigun.

I probably haven't seen more than a handful of the movies listed here but the other day I found a burned dvd of Sword of the Strange while cleaning my truck. No idea where it came from but a really good movie.

For a while my wife was on a kick for some pretty twisted anime porn. And that was very cool.

Wow. That's hilarious.

I picked up Lupin III: A Woman Called Fujiko Mine yesterday, and it is really good. It is my first foray into Lupin III anime.

Alright finished Fooly Cooly and its was good. Haruko is very funny and is the definition of crazy. I wish there were more than 6 episodes. Thanks for the recommendation

That one is quite like most Lupin, but still very good. If you can take the very old animation, the series is very good.

Awesome. The last episode is awesome, but my favorite is episode 4, "Full Swing".
