I have some stuff that I picked up that I'm gonna watch once I'm done with my test.

Nura: Rise of the Yokai Clan
Black Butler

But neither of those are new.

Didn't watch either. Not a fan of most supernatural shoujo anime and ironically, Black Butler falls under that as well (but moreso for girls).

Has anybody been keeping up with the big 3?

With naruto and bleach about to end and One Piece with no foreseeable end in the future, where do you think these go?

For those who have stepped away from naruto since the unveiling of tobi's true identity, it is about to get good as sasuke is about to join the war

The bleach flashback is drawing out and needs to come back to real time.

Grave of the Fireflies
- What the hell was I thinking buying this movie? I have no problem saying this, I fricking cried. This is by far one of the most depressing movies I have seen in a long time. That in no way detracts from its greatness. Grave of the Fireflies is an amazing movie all-around, but I'm not sure I could watch it more than once.

I should not have watched this movie. Just literally depressing the whole way through. This is not a movie to get your spirits up.

Watching Outlaw Star straight through. I've only ever watched it in bits and pieces.

Kinda pissed Leilong never makes another appearance.

Anyone want a new recommendation that is really strange? Try out Serial Experiments Lain. Very strange anime that deals with the line between reality and virtual. I enjoyed it, although I don't think it is as good as people online said.

I'm currently watching Psycho Pass. Pretty cool Minority Report-esque theme where people are arrested or killed based on their mental makeup. Liking it so far.

didnt see blue gender listed in the op.

started watching it awhile ago, but havent finished, so i dont know if the quality holds up past the first half of the series, but its pretty cool alien/sci fi stuff. wouldnt fit your "really strange" criteria, but theres lots of awkward nudity.

Ah yes, Blue Gender. I caught some of it on Netflix. Didn't get around to finishing it.

Let me know how it holds up.

If you want strange, then watch this.

It's one of my alltime favorites and won several awards for being outstanding. It's about a eccentric psychiatrist dealing with some odd cases. You can download it here.

I'll have to check it out. I'm more into the mindfrick, make you think kinda strange, but FLCL is one of my favorites so straight up whacked out strange is good too.

Currently my list of shows to watch:

Psycho Pass (current)
Steins;Gate
Casshern Sins

Same. I had watched 4 or 5 episodes and then it vanished.

Once of my all time favorites. I do think you'd enjoy Trapeze/Kuuchuu Buranko. Everyone who I've recommended it to has enjoyed it.

I'm currently watching a lot. LINK Some of it is stuff I've started with friends or watching along with someone else. A few are things that I want to start soon.

Yea, I can see that.

I tend to do just one series at a time.

I've also only seen 3 or so of those shows.

Darker than Black
- Recommend season 1 only.

Fairy Tale
- Basically the same thing as Naruto, just with magic.

Needless
- Its on Netflix. I wasn't really a fan.

You pretty much go across all genres it seems. I tend to stick with the horror, action, scifi, crime thriller, etc. I like the shows that really make you think too, i.e. Serial Experiments Lain, Ergo Proxy.

Occasionally I'll throw in the crazy ones like FLCL for a change of pace.

Hope to hear what you think. At least watch 2-3 episodes. It's not your usual show. (you'll also be the only person on TD to know where my avatar is from).

I like to watch stuff as it comes out. Is much more manageable and I can look forward to a new episode each week.

Just on S1 now for Darker than Black. Will see if i bother with the second.

Fairy Tail is alright. I stopped around 55 and haven't picked it up again. I did enjoy some arcs though.

I really enjoy Needless because of the great parody and over-the-topness of it all.

If it's good, I'll watch it. Pretty much willing to give every show a chance (outside of one or two genres).

Since finals ended two weeks ago I've watched a shite ton of shows since I haven't had anything better to do. So this summer far I've finished:
Code Geass (second season got a little ridiculous but the ending was fricking amazing so I'll let it slide)
Mirai Nikki
Toradora!
HOTD
High School DxD
Zero no Tsukaima (all four seasons)
Kore wa Zombie desu ka? (both seasons)
Rosario + Vampire (manga is a million times better)
To Love-Ru (all of them)
Angel Beats
Clannad and Clannad: After Story (I shed copious amounts of manly tears throughout After Story)

and I'm on episode 6 of Bakemonogatari right now. I love the wordplay and dialogue between Araragi and Senjougahara

Next on my list is probably Steins;Gate and then I'm not sure after that

One of similar taste. I've seen all of the above except for ZnT, Rosario, and TLR. Also, you're much braver than I am with your Rias avatar.

And yes, the entire monogatari series is just fantastic. Your pick of Steins;Gate is also very good. You should really enjoy it.

I just finished episode 12 of bakemonogatari and I have to say that entire scene with Hitagi's dad and then when they were laying and watching the stars was absolutely amazing
