Has anyone ever eaten there and is it as good/ better than the original in Destin? Does it get full usually to where I'd need to make reservations at night?

I don't care for it. Went once, and the fish wasn't good. Their menu also seemed pretty limited. A few people i know have the same opinion.

It is busy, and packed on weekends, but they don't take reservations.

Been a while since I have been. But when I have its been the opposite of what Bug felt. Some of the best fish dishes I have had around. Very good soups and sauces too. Gets very crowded on weekends though.

OKay thanks guys. I've been to the one in Destin and really liked it. I wasn't sure if this one was similar.

I went this past Saturday to the one in BR. I got the blackened redfish and my gf got the stuffed bell peppers and they were both great. They do get really busy though.

This is the first time I've seen this opinion, honestly. Not saying you're wrong or your experience isn't true.. I just have never seen negative things said about LL.

It's one of the better restaurants in BR. Never had a bad experience there.

I haven't heard many negative reviews of the place. It is one of my favorite places in BR, along with Ruffino's, Mansur's and Stroube's.

I used to love it when we lived there. I have had a really good steak there, but here is my go to item:

Char-Grilled Tuna

Bacon wrapped yellowfin tuna set in a light garlic beurre blanc topped with jumbo lump crabmeat and Hollandaise. $29

That sounds amazing. I've been looking for a place that serves a good grilled tuna.

It really is good. I do tell them to go light on the sauce.

There was one night I remember going where everything seemed off, so maybe he went on a bad night. Every other time I've been has been very good. Definitely one of the best in BR.
