Does anyone know if Sid is going to retain his position as A.D. for the system, and head coach at Central.

I guess the school(Central) AD in this situation is also the school system AD (Communtity). So he is just adding the head coach title to his previous job??

Heard that Sid was going to be Head Basketball Coach, Head Bowling Coach, Head Wrestling Coach, and Head Tennis Coach as well.

Why wouldn't he still be the AD? Doesnt actually do any coaching anyway so it's not a time thing.

Never, thats just what I have heard from several people. I know a lot of Catholic High people and have been told that. On that note I think Catholic will be back this year. I hear they have some good talent returning.

And catholic has all the info because.........

Why would they have any insight to what goes on on a daily basis at Central.

My opinion is that you are a butthurt former coach that has a hard on for bashing Sid's perceived lack of coaching.

Sour grapes in other words

Nope, not at all, just telling you the perception that I have heard out there. If it's not true, my bad. I guess Sid is a great coach, if you are saying that then I guess it is true. I am out of line for posting third hand information on a website as fact.

my point is that he has done a pretty good job no matter where he has been, so he must be good at something as a coach...just saying. I grew up watching baton rouge football and Sid in particular at catholic, redemptorist, and central and I have respect for him based on what he has been able to accomplish. Apparently, if you are a coach, he is pretty good to coach with as well based on the number of head coaches in the area that used to be on his coaching staff's in the past.

Sid is more of a general manager, a good one at that.

Not a knock on sid but he brings in the talent. He is like the Nick saban of high school football. Central will dominate that district as long as he is there. Central has great talent returning but sid will add some kids. Clinton and Northeast are about to get raided if they have any talent.
