Mingo may put himself into that argument before he is done here...

But PP7 would certainly have to be considered in the top 5

It's hard to argue against Peterson.

Michael Clayton would be another guy that would be high on the list.

Billy cannon ran 100 yards i'n 10 seconds. That's pretty fast for an old white guy.

Todd Kinchen was certainly one. Freakish football player and could dunk like a monster. 6ft white boy.

I'm curious to see how Ken Adams does at the combine/ pro day. his speed for his size is supposedly crazy.

bullshite.

He could have easily played both ways if Saban would have allowed.

He did play some safety if you remember...

But I don't think you understand the point of this thread at all if you are claiming Clayton belongs in the discussion.

He ran like a 4.6 at the combine

In over 75 years of SEC football, I think Cannon was the only every-down starter to win the SEC title in the 100 yd/m dash. Not even Bo Jackson did that.

If Cannon had wanted to go to the Olympics as a weightlifter, he probably could have. If Cannon had wanted to go to the Olympics as a sprinter, he probably could have. That's pretty ridiculous.

That being said, PP7 was certainly freakish, and given his kick returning prowess, it's really a close call.
