I know it's not a team need but do we draft another TE?

I think the Saints need improvement and depth at other positions, but does anybody else think they might try to get another TE in the draft. Especially having another big body TE like a Ladarius Green from ULL. I think the way the Patriots have had such success with Gronkowski and Hernandez at TE that the Saints might want a package like that also on offense.

Ladarius Green

Beast..

Where is he projected to go? That would be a fun experiment to take on if he is 5th or later

I wouldn't oppose it in the mid rounds. We don't have much behind Graham and something close to what the Patriots have would be pretty nice.

It seems like you can get a good blocking TE with some receiving skill in free agency rather cheap. I'd try to go that route given our other defensive needs.

if good then no, ya can pickup blocker types without drafting

did look kinda serious for him tho

Without Thomas some other mid-rounder if at the right value. Being a copycat league I'm sure Payton could have fun with 2 TE threats ala NE.

call me crazy, no homer, but i would love Deangelo Peterson to the saints, where ever he would be projected.

i think he could be molded and in a couple of years him and Jimmy would be lethal as a combo.

I'd like to draft another one, especially if Colston doesn't come back. We have a short QB, and having size on the field really helps.

D. Thomas was pretty big for us in our run in 2009. He's a good all around TE and hope he comes back full strength.

Just go get the kid Chase Ford from The "U" in the 7th round or FA. Those Miami TE can ball.

I like Coby Fleener of Stanford.

He's big, fast and amost as elusive as a WR.

Can you see Graham and Fleener in the game at the same time? Who the F do you cover? Can't leave either one open and you still have to cover the WR's. That offense would be even scarier than the current one.

Yeah, the Saints need defense, but I'd get this guy on the roster some how.
