tickets are as low as $1 for the upper sections and as low as $9 for the lower sections.

that's pretty ridiculous.

go snatch up some seats and support this team, sons.
it'll cost you much more to park than to get in...

I just recently paid $5 to watch my nephew play in a middle school basketball tournament, but for that $5 I can also pick up (10) $0.50 tickets to see a NBA game tonight. unbelievable. The fan base here for the Hornets is a complete joke.

the Mavericks are averaging 20,245 people per game

the Hornets are averaging 14,518 people per game (which will sink to below 14,000 after tonight)

Come on. The Mavs just won the championship. The Hornets are last in the west, lost their two best players, their new best player is out, and they don't have an owner.

There is a difference between reasons and excuses. Bad teams are going to struggle to draw, small markets are going to struggle to draw, NBA in general is not going to light the world on fire, and you can always go to stub hub and get cheap tickets for NBA games because most tickets are owned by companies and there are a lot of games, many mid week.

That's not "Hornets" fans. That's just fans. People weren't flocking to Dallas when they were bombing seasons for the rights to draft Jimmy Jackson. Marc Cuban has mentioned having to knock on doors himself when he bought the Mavs.

Stable organization, good marketing, good team, and Hornets fans would be out in droves, as would any fan base across the country.

Even whenever the Hornets had Chris Paul and made the playoffs 3 out of 4 years they still couldn't draw a good crowd and people were still pulling any excuse out of their arse they could come up with for the terrible fan support. The only decent year they had was 2008-09. The rest they have either barely made or fell well below the 14,000ish benchmark.

The Hornets have offered the cheapest single game, multi-game, and season tickets in the entire NBA hands down bar none since coming back to New Orleans in 2007, yet still can't get decent fan support despite putting playoff teams on the floor 3 out of the last 4 seasons. This didn't just start this year during a rebuilding year.

10,000 season tickets. Sponsors renewing deals. And prospective owners that want to keep the team in NO. Those are positive facts.

Why do you have nothing but negative things to say all the time? It's rather depressing.
