My perspective is that JJ wouldn't have been able to play that well against that roster.

This perspective is known as reality.

Really, JJ looked like crap against Western Kentucky, and I'm pretty sure this roster would beat a middle of the pack Sunbelt Conference opponent.

Agreed. Let's keep this in perspective. Post who Lee played WITH last night. His TDs went to players from William and Mary as well as Sacred Heart. Way to shite on his play though.

Here's some more reality.....The team he was on had the same caliber players as the one you posted. The offensive line struggled to keep the defense out of the backfield all night. Lee was pressured on nearly every play. He held up under the pressure better than a lot would have and even showed that he will initiate contact if the play calls for it.

If you want to keep it in perspective, show the rosters in which he led the Tigers to victory. Then do the same for JJ. You'll find that JJ's victories were led by defense and special teams while Lee's victories were a balanced team effort.

It doesn't matter who the starting defense is if you fumble the ball 3 X's and hold on to it too long.

Give Jarrett his due. He did pretty darn well against WVU (orange bowl champ), Oregon (Rose Bowl Champ), Miss. St. the (Music City Bowl Champ) etc. for the first 8 weeks of the season.

Yes, what you said. I could not agree more. We had no balance against Bama either time we played them.

This thread had nothing to do with JJ and was not a derogatory comment about Lee. I am just tired of the "See there, Miles is an idiot" crowd pointing to Lee's performance as some kind of justification for their hate of Miles.
