On TV they said Hamilton suggested that UNC leave the court, but it seemed obvious that Hamilton had no idea what was going on and ROy was explaining to him what he was planning.

I was watching it too, and I actually thought at first he was throwing in the towel. Which would have been the most glorious thing I'd ever seen. Unfortunately, he was just "protecting" his high-value guys and letting his walk-ons fend for themselves.

ETA: I was very embarrassed by the way that was handled. I don't mind seeing Roy get the starters off of the court, but he should have manned up and stayed out there with those other guys. Shitty move on Roy's part. Probably one of the lowest times in his tenure at UNC.
