That article just pisses me off...
I try not to dwell on the fact that Miles allowed his favoritism for one player to supercede the rest of the players for LSU...and get us blown out of the BCS game. BLOWN OUT.
I am not saying LSU wins that rematch, but I think we would have been competitive.

You cannot argue with this logic. We all knew deep down that our emperor was naked anyhow. What really baffles my mind though that a program like LSU cannot get someone that really understands how to run a offense. Are they really that hard to hire, or does our emperor think that he is really a offensive mind.

To my lights, it's hard to argue with this summary of the January 9th debacle.
It's hard to argue that 20-20 hindsight is easy. It's easy to be a Monday morning QB. It's easy to criticize others after a failure. Miles will do his post-mortem and learn from it.
You're a loser with no life. Get one.

more an editorial and opinion than a report of the facts...
in retrospect, most of us believe lee should have been put in for a series in the 2nd quarter...
we lost <bama didn't win> because their defense smothered us early, jordan jefferson played terribly and failed to make a single play and mcccarron played out of his mind as did his receivers.
<bama didn't win> - if we didn't win at tuscaloosa, bama didn't win in new orleans.

Good.
Another anti-Les circle jerk.
Let me grab my popcorn, Wisdom and Truth is likely to floweth forth, and I don't want to miss a bit of it...

The article states that some players and assistant coaches thought Lee should stay on as the starter. Everything else I see says that's not true.
I'm ready to move on and hope Miles learned from his terrible mishandling of the situation, but I have to admit that that makes me wonder!

Another question is whether Miles can learn from this enormous mistake. He hired Chavis and fixed the defense in a big way. What is he prepared to do now?

Miles mishandled LSU's 'two-QB system'
Posted on 1/15/12 at 9:22 am to NimbleCat
Very good article. Chronicles how Miles used a valid argument to justify Jefferson's inclusion in the offense but once Jefferson was starting Miles no longer needed this argument. Miles wanted Jefferson as the starting and exclusive quarterback, even if that meant we didn't have the best chance to win. He put his choice above what was best for the team. Will he have to explain this...probably not.

This article states what half of the fanbase has been saying since JJ came back.. We all know Lee should have been given more snaps and wasnt. The only thing everybody wants to know is why he wasn't but I'm 100% sure we never will. Les will never admit to his error.. I never saw it coming will be closest thing we get to an explanation..

This quote is the money shot:
And that's the part that had me scratching my head. I agree about asking why he gave up on using the 2 qb system.
It's not about bashing Miles. But I believe not a soul on this planet does things perfectly 100% of the time. We go through periods of growth which usually come best from catastrophic events. And sometimes when said catastrophic events happen, we completely overlook those and call it "bad luck". This has been a flaw with Miles since he's been here, and I hope this is the one time he's stops calling it bad luck and takes a good look at it to learn from it.

miles will never admit to any wrong doing,he botched the game and is too stubborn to admit it.

Here is where your THEORY goes into Sillyland:
If you HONESTLY believe what you wrote, you may not be real, real smart.

Why is it an anti Les Circle Jerk to note that Miles OBVIOUSLY fricked the QB situation up entirely after Bama 1? Ever person with an IQ above 80 can see that. And, they can see that his frick up was OBVIOUSLY not a football decision. That can see that based upon MILES OWN WORDS. In other words, it can be seen based upon Miles repeated lies about the virtues of having two QBs play.

I cannot stand GG. Even still, every one of his opinion pieces on the QB situation this year has been money. I hate giving that douche credit, but he deserves it. Nailed.

Most of Guilbeau's articles are nothing more than barely-concealed hatred for Miles. But this one struck me as money, too.

Are you sure about that? I thought he did. Didn't he apologize to the team that it was his fault that he didn't make the right adjustment?
Pretty sure he is not too stubborn to admit but probably to stubborn to beat a dead horse. :beatdeadhorse:
