Shea Dixon just tweeted this:

quote:

@SheaDixon:
Les Miles and Frank Wilson were in Dutchtown today. Despite a commitment to the Tide, the Landon Collins beat goes on.

Great to hear.. I think those 2 could turn almost anyone around

unless they convince him to break up with his gf, then nothing they say or do will matter.

Wasn't Shea saying before the commitment that he was confident that he was going to LSU?

You guys have to understand...I'm sure Shea's a great guy, but he's relying on info from kids (in this case, a kid who is under a ton of local pressure) who are just going to tell him a little of what he wants to hear to get him off their back. Especially in a situation like this.

So no...I won't go to the Rant with that shite. This board isn't just for sunshine pumping.

ETA: I'm sorry for calling you morons.

Shea said that regardless of what Landon's decision would be (prior to his official announcement), he would be recruited to the last second by both teams.

Shea was confident because Landon agreed with his family and Les Miles in Miles office that LSU was the best place for him.

That's why the LSU staff was confident, thus communicated to Shea as "feeling good about it being LSU"...thus Shea predicted LSU.

Shea's sources are pretty darn good...inside the coaching circle.. TIFWIW

With all due respect, no der.

No way Les and crew just throw their hands up. He's the top safety in the country, and they could loop by his house every evening on the way home from work!!

In no way does that mean anything will change.

The coaching staff arrived at 8am and up to two hours ago were still there. Seems like they spent the entire day with the Collins family talking to everyone. Still say less than a 1% shot .... the temptress has her claws deep in him.

Means absolutely nothing. This has been planned for a while, and even before Monday's debacle Collins was going to Bama.

Monday made it even more impossible to switch him. PERIOD.

I hope frank walked into a family reunion. The more family there, the better.
