so he exceeded your expectations, although, after the bar fight you thought that would help the team go all the way. thanks for participating.

Not a bad coach at all.....But rest assure, if LM is given the same sinario regarding "time to change a QB when he starts to perform like crap" He will next time!

It does not matter what we think, because we are fans.

If the football community thinks very highly of Coach Miles, Miles will get an offer from an NFL team to coach.

Let's let time pass and see what happens with regard to the NFL and Coach Miles.

Why do posters here peddle ridiculous false dichotomies? Either Miles is a genius or a "bad coach." Neither is true. The primary problem at this juncture is that it appears Miles is the second best coach in his division of his conference.

how you know he hasn't been offered or contacted? maybe he has and he says he's happy where he's at. isn't that possible? Hasn't his name been linked to dallas and miami only to get squashed by him? what does that say?

I don't think he's a bad coach at all, and back in the summer I thought we would go 10-2 or 9-3. I never thought we could navigate that schedule without a loss.

I'm a big Miles fan, but the guy needs to hire an offensive coordinator and let the guy coach.

I would like to see a poll of fans in Michigan.

How many of their fans would trade Brady Hoke for Les Miles?

Probably not many, which is interesting because people on here think Miles is one of the top 2 coaches in NCAA football.

Miles isn't a bad coach. He just needs to cover his weaknesses better. I would rather have him than Bob Stoops

have you not been reading the rant? people have stated the above and even asked for him to be fired. they have claimed he lost his players, quit on his team, and the program is out of control. i'm talking to those people.

These arguments are so intellectually bankrupt. Under this logic, Miles could purposely throw the championship game but be beyond criticism because he won '13'.

When supporters have to sink to this, it tells you what you need to know.

probably not many because they have hoke, they would have danced in the streets had they got miles. lets see where hoke is in 7 years. lets see if he's in the n.c. game like miles was.

criticism i have no problem with. i didn't like the game plan either.

with that said, i'm not the one calling for his head, stating he's a bad coach, the program is out of control, ect. i find that line of thinking fascinating.

my wife isn't perfect, i'm not perfect, but i still love her. I would hate if she felt as harshly about me for my flaws as these people do about a football coach who made a mistake like every coach and person does.
