With JJ at QB Bama only had to defend the run and option. They were not going to respect any passes until we completed some down field. Miles tried to Option, screen and run to set up a pass. That was arse backwards considering everyone on earth new that was the plan.

The reason the option worked the first game is because the play calling with Lee made them play defense honest.
