What makes you guys think that it will be a different story next year with the offense, just because of the quarterback. Les will want to control the clock and pass the ball maybe 10-15 times a game. This won't change as long as Les is here.

Les changes his offense with the QB. He does prefer mobile QB's, though.

How many times did JR/Flynn/Lee throw per game?

Dear 8 lb. 6 ounce baby Jesus, surrounded by cattle and mules and chickens and covered by a blanket of stars in your little manger of hay, thank you for helping Justin Timberlake finally come to his senses and dump Cameron Diaz so that we can finally be together, holding hands, walking along the beach our toes in the sand. And tiny baby Jesus all wrapped up in your swaddling blanket and watching your Baby Einstein videos, learning your shapes and colors, thank you for also bringing the newly single Fabrizio Moretti (who recently split from Drew Barrymore) into my life to give me options should I decide that JT just doesn’t do it for me anymore. Amen.

Hanagriff said on his show this afternoon that he expects Mett and Miles to go 15 rounds next year because "Mett has swag" and will have no issue checking out of Miles' bread and butter running plays when he sees safeties creeping up. See the Ole Miss bootleg for exhibit A.

I'm pretty sure he was the 11th best QB in the nation in 99. I'm not sure how much of a difference maker he will be, just be happy Gunner is coming.

Jamarcus average over 26 throws a game in 2006. We don't need a gunslinger. We need balance. When the number 1 team in the nation passes for 30 yards in one game and only gets 5 first downs in another, balance is missing.

Well, from 2005-2007, with Russel and Flynn at QB, we averaged about 30 passes a game. Who was the coach then?

Depends...if Mett makes proper reads, it's going to be really hard to pull him, especially with no one else on the roster with any game experience.

Dude, Miles has proven he exploits players "skill sets" (even JJs)....now what do you think Mettenburger's skill sets are? Because that is what will be used the most at QB...so, get pumped!

Well, at least when we run the ball, actual running backs will be doing that instead of a QB. Believe me, we'll throw more with a QB like Mett that has the ability to do ALL the things the coaches want in a passing QB.
