I have read some of his articles time after time, and now I'm just not sure if he knows what he is talking about, do he have any sense or is he just writing to get paid basically

I think he knows the Saints were gonna be the cream of the crop this season, but I think at times he holds back on over 'pumpin' us knowing he has to cover all 4 teams.

On 690 today he kinda dismissed our defense.
He's not lookin' hard at us on that end lately I guess

He's pretty unbiased in his articles which I like. Usually has some good stuff. Never find a ton of it to be totally off-base

This. Well, for the most part. He never writes anything earth-shattering that you don't already know about. But, sometimes I feel he does like the Saints more than other NFC S teams.

A month or so ago, he wrote an article saying our defense is starting to make us dangerous. In the article you linked, everything he says our defense needs to do, we have been doing. It sounds like he hasn't been playing close attention to our games, and he's relying on the stat machine and espn talking points.

In other words, I don't think a whole lot of him.

God have mercy, there are people here who don't know what the media's job is supposed to be. There was nothing wrong about the article. At the time he wrote the previous article, the defense may have had a couple of outstanding games.

I'm pretty sure Yasinskas pays attention. I'll bet he knows more about the Saints defense inside and out than the posters in this thread do.

Yah wanna bet?

The things he claims the defense needs to do in the article (make some key stops, force some turnovers), we did in the last game and have been doing the past month and longer. I read the whole thing. I didn't just read the headline.

In spite of what they may think about their own, knowledge 75% of the posters on sports message boards know very little about the true details of the game OR are completely blinded by homerism.

Beyond question. Not only have I developed a keen, unbiased ability when it comes to analyzing the game, but my observation of human behavior is pretty fricking amazing.

At least I know what I'm dealing with.
