I would like to know we had a new OC with the talented QB's going into next season.

Regardless of excuses made from current staff we should of had a plan B. A good OC would make adjustments not just keep going with more of the same when it didn't work. I still like Krag to stay as QB coach.

If that person had control sure. Notice how the JJ offense looked JUST like Crowton's offense

I believe so. It will show Miles' intent in fixing things.

I agree if JJ had another year we would be back to this shite early and often. But with a clean slate at QB you really think it still wouldn't change a thing?

Why would it change? Hell you could bring in Jesus Christ himself and Miles would still run the show.

Which might mean Crowton's offense was really just CLM's offense in disguise? That's what scares me.

I actually like the play calling when JJ was out and Lee started. I was watching how diverse and rhythmic it became.

When JJ was the starter it was overly predictable I knew what was happening before the ball snapped so did Alabama.

As long as Miles is involved with the Offense....No.

They don't need an OC to settle the fan base, they need an OC who can put together a better game plan.

That's what I'm getting at. Crowton sucked, for sure (except curiously when Flynn was here), but it's very obvious now he was more of a scapegoat. It appears Miles took the reigns and called 10-15 plays with JJ because JJ had such a hard time remembering the plays. All this to protect him IMO.

That's my point, no one is convinced what we can do what we need offensively. So would a new OC give us some confidence we could, Or does everyone think Miles will always veto common sense.

I would love to hear Crowton talk on if he took a fall for the Miles JJ love affair.

Crowton stunk but Miles had more to do with our shitty offense than people wanted to believe.

As long as his buddy Stud is OC, you can rest assured that Miles will have his grubby, walrus-clapping hands all over whatever scheme we run.

Watching the offense since JJ gained active status, it's my guess that Miles will always have some hand in the offense.

Miles has to do whatever he thinks is best and ignore everything else. The day a coach starts catering to the whims of a fickle fanbase is the day he signs his pink slip.

It wouldn't change a thing because it would still be Les Miles making the calls.

Won't happen for a few reasons.

A. LSU went 13-1 and made it to the national title game.

B. Miles fires NO ONE. He didn't even fire Crowton or the abomination of his Co-DCs.

C. Even if he did get a new OC, he's calling the plays. Always has, always will.
