I think Bobby took all of this attention whoring a little too far, but I'm laughing at those who think he is bringing La a bad rep.
Did any of you ever listen to the guy he replaced. Buddy D was fun guy, but he didn't speak English.
Do any of you listen to sports talk at all in La? Richard Condon, Buddy Songy, etc? This is who we are in this dept. Sad but true.

WWL is a 50,000 watt flamethrower that is consistently heard on clear nights as far north as St Louis and as far north and east as Virginia.
They've been part of the LSU Network longer than anyone can remember. LSU's not ending that because of the ramblings of some drunk douchebag who's gone all Little League-dad, and is butthurt because his kid didn't play.

WWL execs are likely telling him to STFU because he's embarrassing them, and potentially costing them advertisers.

Buddy D was a Korean War vet who was shot in the face. That's why he sounded funny when he talked.

Bobby Hebert? Talks that way because he's basically an ignorant arse. Big difference.

Or having the perception that Les Miles would have torpedoed a man's career for simply being vocal about his opinion. Maybe Bobby went on a bit too much, but firing the guy over that would be a PR nightmare. It doesn't seem like they have fired Bobby, which would actually be a bad move.

Did he ever make it onto Paul Finebaum's show?

If so, did he say anything new?

Bobby Hebert is the only thing worth listening to on WWL.

Spud and Garland are 1st class panderers.

The Saints flew out to San Fran late this afternoon... This may be a stupid question, but does the WWL crew that works the games leave with the team also?

Wonder why BH is not on sports talk with Deke right now? Just tuned in and it is Deke only.

Bobby Hebert asked a good question though he could have asked it in a better way. Bobby is getting national pub for WWL so he won't be fired.

Bobby did not inflame the state. The state was already inflamed.

Miles laid a big egg. It happens. I wish it wouldn't have happened to my team on the biggest stage in college football, but hey, that's life.

What an Idiot you are.

WWL is a sinking ship at this point, with soon to be usless towers and overhead expenses.
They are now stuggling to keep the Saints contract.
You see this new thing that's about to come along call the "Internets" is making broadcasting cheap
AM/FM is nearly obsolete. And his meeting wasn't about LSU at all

I glad to hear most Ranters never got drunk!Sure can't find many of you guys at the games.I believe after the SuperBowl BH was a little over come by the spirits. And all you non drinkers are feeling a little hurt.

If Bobby didn't get fired for his comments on The Point After after the 2009 Saints-Pats game, he won't be fired for this.

I remember laughing my arse off listening to that. "We're coming for your wife. We're coming for your kids. We are the blitzkrieg."

Bobby and Deke are two of the worst hosts in New Orleans radio history. Bobby can't ask a question without rambling onb with what he thinks the answer should be before asking it, and Deke is just a jackass whose expertise begins and ends with knowing about high school football.

Do yourself a favor, listen to some of the high profile radio stations in the country, then consider if Bobby is needed as a radio announcer. There isn't a radio announcer at WWL who could hold Bob Sturm's (1310 The Ticket in Dallas) jock at hosting a radio show, and he's just the midday drivetime host.

Same post game he compared the Saints destroying the Pats to the Nazis destroying the Jews. I'm not kidding. He was beyond blitzed!
