Spoke with one of my good friends on the team who plays defense. The defense was frustrated with the offense all night. He expected to see jlee get in but never did. Some of the players went up to miles during halftime and let there feelings be known about changing qbs. During halftime a couple of our best defensive players got in jeffersons and other offensive players face and had "harsh words" for them. He couldnt believe they kept running the offense and the opition. He said bama knew they'd run it and they put in opition passes to fool them along with other packages. Russel shephard is so good with tje balls in his hands he is conpletely wasting him. Les niles does not call the offensive plays according to this guy. But said bama was the better team. Mettenberger is the truth and he thinks ruben is coming back and well be hungrier next year.

One more thing to add. He along with other members of the team were pissed when les had seemingly given up in the 4th by punting it. Said he was mad sad and thats not like les to do.aomething like that.

That's as good as anything right now and would explain some things. At one point in the 3rd quarter I watched Sam kneeling all by himself with his head down and then looking up to the sky. I felt so bad for him.

Yes, plausible, if you care about that sort of thing, but it's not as interesting as the crazy conspiracy theories.

meh, that might just be Sam. remember, this is the guy still riding the stationary bike after we've beaten Bama. and who gives the most interesting interviews in the world.

Hope you're right about Mett and RR. Makes me think that CLM thought he owed JJ something and forgot about the rest of the team. Les lost control.

What better way to hurt Bama then to pass out of the option.
Also, announcer said LSU had never run option from under center, that they had always run it out of shotgun. Is that true?

OUr Defense should have injured JJ on the way back out the locker room if they were serious about affecting change and restoring order.

This is what I expected to hear when people throw out "locker room issues". Jordan Jefferson is not the only guy on LSU's team who worked hard for this season. Les Miles owed it to all of his players to give them a chance to win.
