All with 14 versus 13 games.

2010 passing yards...2023
2011 passing yards...2135
2010 rushing yards...2438
2011 rushing yards...2836

2010 total yards... 4461 343 ypg
2011 total yards... 4971 355 YPG

We have bascially the same offensive production. This is alarming. JL played much better under Kragthorpe, JJ played the same. Hopefully Mett and Krags mesh well.

It would pay LSU huge dividends if we really looked for a competent OC and for Miles to just get out of the way. I doubt this happens.

Stud is the OC. Mile is offensive mastermind.

When they brainstorm it produces a light drizzle.

Its time for us to accept that the offense good or bad runs through Coach Miles

"He will have been in our program for a year and a half going into next season, and that's one of the reasons I want to stay," Kragthorpe said. "I want to coach him, because I think he has a comfort level with me and I have a comfort level with him. He doesn't need another change."

It doesn't matter who the Oc is. Why can't you people see that since 2008, Les Miles has ran the offense.

It is what it is. He is trapped in 1976, and has no fricking clue how to use today's elite talent at qb and wr.

He needs to let the guys he hires do their job and be the head coach.

It's time for us to accept that Miles doesn't know dick about offense and his constant meddling in the gameplan is the reason we continue to see this abortion of an on-the-field product.

Would you have rathered Miles throwing the ball all around the yard this year and losing 3 games? Did you bitch and moan when we were winning 13 straight?

Teams have bad games, how many games has Miles won with the exact same formula of a good running game and awesome defense? Why put the ball at risk when you have a defense who doesn't give up points, and a great running game?

Maybe next year we'll throw it a bit more, but I don't see why........our defense will probably be even better.

Oh and by the way we led the SEC in points per game, maybe we should have averaged 50 points.

I think Miles knows plenty. However he needs to be the guy and own it, or get out of the way. One or the other.

People keep forgetting how often we started with really short fields this year.

JJ is somewhere blaming Lee for all those INT's and taking credit for all those TD's.

This is a slight change of tone for Krags. Before the season (after he stepped down to just QB's) he said he wanted to stay here for a decade or more... until his Parkinson's made him retire. This makes it sound like it isn't all peaches but that he owes it to Mett.

Disclosure: I didn't read the article, just the quote

What in the hell do yall people want? Did you want us to purposefully get behind in games so they had to throw for gobs of yards. I'm as frustrated as anyone, but come on be realistic.

we had 12 ypg improvement.

And the average starting position theory was proven to be a incorrect, it was actually better in 2010.

Well we didn't even attempt to pass in the second half against UGA because we didn't need to do it. So a bad half against UGA by Jefferson with a decent game plan (he actually didn't seem that off IMO).

Last night Jefferson sucked, but the offensive game plan and play calling was just off the charts bad.

Yall people are impossible to satisfy and reason with. Do you folks realize most games were out of hand early? Who cares how many yards we had, we won 13 frigging games, 3 against teams who won BCS games.

Whoever runs the offense needs to stand up and take responsibility for yesterday.

I would say you can easily blame JJ but hell crowton got fired in one damn season. Stud and krags put up great numbers while lee was in.
