Would the loss be easier to accept?

Yes, imo the fact that Les would give Lee a shot would've had me satisfied, but to sit him out of the biggest and final game of his season, I feel is disrespectful for Lee

It would be the same for me. I'm mad abut the gameplan moreso than anything else.

Yes. Because that would have evidenced some attempt to actually compete (i.e. make adjustments / try something different / much like when we went to JJ in Bama1).

As it was, we simply showed Bama our arse and invited them to frick it.

It would definitely lessen it.

But I think most logical people saw that QB wasn't the only reason we got thumped, and a change wouldn't have made THAT significant of a change.

I think people would be able to take the loss better. Jefferson has been, is, and always will be a horrible QB. Lee is not as good of an athlete, but a better QB. The change of pace was needed and should have happened. I'm not bitter about the loss, I'm bitter about the lack of effort to prevent it

i would be just as angry about the gameplan, or whatever that was

but yea, an ounce of actual effort from the coaching staff would have been welcomed

Les putting Lee in would be a sign that he wasn't giving up

Outrage would be slightly less. Loss wouldn't be easier to accept.

I just wanted us to pretend like we were playing in the BCSNCG in the 4th quarter, and do something more than runs up the middle, options & screen passes. Would've been nice.

Yes. We would have at least tried all of our options before conceding defeat. It was quite obvious JJ wasn't getting it done, but to continually trot him out there was just mind boggling to everyone.

It would have at least shown that Miles wanted to try to win the game. The outcome would have been the same... Bama was winning this game no matter what. Maybe the loss wouldn't have been quite as ugly if Lee had gotten in after the half though. Who knows... Maybe we could have even gotten a fg.

How could a professional football coach watch the first quarter and a half of that came and not realize that he would most certainly lose unless he took some kind of action to adjust his offensive game plan?

I don't think there would be any outrage. It would be settled fact that we couldn't compete on offense last night. I think things would also be different if Les would've just said that JJ was the starter and Lee wasn't playing as long as JJ was healthy. People believed the whole "we wanted to get Lee in but blah blah" that Les has been feeding fans the last part of the season.

I have no doubt JJ played his heart out last night but he wasn't getting the job done. Les is to blame and not JJ and we will never know what could've been...

I would've still been upset but at least Les would've used all the tools in front of him to try and complete the job.
