I saw that he Twittered something like "OMG I was in the game for 3 plays!".

Not that we had a lot of offensive plays, but it seems like another weapon not used effectively.

Shep really hasn't been much of a weapon. Randle and Beckham are much better receivers. And because our O-line got dominated so badly we had to put in extra tight ends and running backs to help pass block.

Must have had bad grades or cursed out Miles like Lee did.

Idk man. I'm not sold that Shepard isn't that great. I just think he's not utilized right. Shep in space can turn out a lot of big plays. I'm not saying he should be our go-to WR, but I think he could be a hell of a lot more in certain situations.

Bingo

But it is amazing that Shepard only saw 3 plays. Even more amazing that he didn't see it coming.
I have a feeling that the offense wasn't on the same page leading up to this game

Why the frick do "fans" have to do this kind of shite every time a player voices any kind of opinion, or even displeasure? You think he shouldn't be able to voice his opinion when you can sit here and talk all the shite you want? Youre a dick

This game has resurfaced my feeling that Shep has never been used correctly, and it royally pisses me off the type of talent he is, and that we have hardly ever given him a real shot like Lee. A high character guy, is very pro-LSU, team oriented etc. I HATE that a guy like him has never been given a chance.

Can't blame him. Miles took a playmaker and neutered him over the last three years.

because people need someone to throw under the bus. I don't have a problem with Shep being upset about his playing time. We all would be upset if we didn't get in for the NC.

If I was Shep I'd go to Houston take my redshirt and play QB my RS Sr year in 2013

He should have been redshirted, while the worked out the issue of if he would be a QB, WR or RB. Instead they put that project out on the field and blew his entire freshman season placing him all over the place. Then he comes in as a SO and is pretty much strictly a WR. It's his first year at the position and took some adjusting to. Finally we were hoping this year he would break through. Instead he was hampered by the early season suspension. OBJ stepped up and Shep seemed to get lost in our offense. If RR leaves I really hope Shep stays. If RR stays then I couldn't blame Shep at all for wanting to leave.

I'd just hate to see him go. He's one of those guys that have been great for LSU since he came in. I'd like to see him stay and do great things next season.

Don't see how transferring to a small school helps him any at all.

He's a junior, correct? Can he still sit out a year and redshirt while he's doing it?

He definitely showed flashes of brilliance his freshman and sophomore year-than this year-hardly used.

Me neither, but dang the offense was going 3 and out all night long. How many plays did he expect to get?

Yeah, most receivers who continue to play receiver are better than QB's.

Just another wasted talent in this offense. Thanks Les.
