Say we lost, but miles stuck with Lee,then we win out and possibly win the sugar bowl? Both QB's draft stock would be higher (or would exist),we would feel better, next year is our crystal ball anyway.

We would face Bama again in the NCG. Our SoS was much greater than Bama's. Losing to Bama twice in one year would be a brutal shot to the program.

if we lost the first game 21-0, there would have been no rematch.

getting held to 92 total yards and shutout would not help our case on getting voted in as #2.

BCS ranking was razor thin between OSU and Bama, only because Nov.5 was such a tight game. A 21-0 blowout would have put OSU in.

does Bama have LSU's SoS? LSU would have earned it with a way harder schedule.

Should have lost the SECCG instead.

doubtful we'd have been in the BCSCG, so yeah. Play Michigan in the Sugar Bowl and finish up with a win. Bama beats Okie St 63-24 and we spend the offseason arguing that we'd have given them a better game. Whatever deficiencies we have get corrected and we make a run at them next year with a legit QB.
