Everybody has their favorites and reasons for them. I respect all of them, but I didn't cheer or like them all. I tend to root for blue collar, tough, limited players that work hard and do whatever it takes to get by. I also like guys I know or have met coming up, which makes it fun to follow them. That doesn't mean I think they are better, it's just guys I want to succeed.
To answer your question, I love basketball. I just don't have to watch a superstar to enjoy it. Also, you can't ask a white guy if they like Bird.. we all do..
