Want = ignited motivation, passion, desire

Process = mechanically following a fixed formula based on prior success

In the latest research on talent and achievement, on balance, Want should beat Process any day. I noticed in one of Les Miles' locker room sermons where he said something along the lines of "it's up to you take to responsibility of this game, this fight, etc." Essentially, he ignites motivation in his players which gives them the desire to get it done. That's why they chant, "I love it, Yeah!".

Damn, I've never wanted LSU to win it all so badly, at any time, in any sport.

Geaux Fighting Tigers of LSU, Geaux!

of course, but it's more of a difference in Miles "we play for victory" focus vs. Saban's "focus on one play at a time and don't worry about outcomes".
