I didn't hear the word "weird". Are you sure it wasn't "wild"?

Maybe just woke up, did they play pregame or something?

I thought both bands were supposed to play at the half.

Nah. Saints fans were pretty pumped.. Chanting LSU before pregame. No way it was "weird".

it might have been weird to espn... that is Louisiana fans getting just as pumped up about their school band as the game. Any ALA fan there had to be saying "oh shite... if it's like this for their band at a Saints game". Massive LSU chants pregame and at halftime. It was like immediate jump start electricity for Monday.

yeah, they played pre-game and the clapping for the opening drum march was not as off-rhythm as it is in Tiger Stadium, either(nowhere near as many people clapping 10x faster than the bass drum).

Last year I went to the panthers game and the tiger band was there, most in the stands was wondering why a college band was there. It was cool when GBfYL got their crunk on... And the crowd by me changed their minds.

Long time ago when I went to Saints games it was common to have college bands. The Southern Univ. band was pretty much everyone's fav half time.

Never hate those people who are jealous of you but respect their jealousy because they are the ones who think that you are better than them.
