Our passing game is one of the best of all time. There is no debating that. Drew Brees and his receivers can almost be unstoppable. Yet, I feel like we have a much better running game than our offense gives us credit for. Granted, next week may not apply given the 49ers defense against the run, but why doesnt this offense run more consistently? Especially in a game like like tonight where you have two offensive Juggernauts who can go point for point with each other? Why not use up clock then go over the top with your badass passing game?

It's apparent you just started watching the Saints. You know NOTHING about Sean Payton.

We ran the ball 36 times tonight. Pretty balanced attack I would say

Because we score 42 points per game at home.

This is exactly what happened tonight.

I've never seen Payton run the ball more than he did tonight, when the game was close.

I should have started my post like this tonight... "I'm drunk". Saints did an awesome job and kicked arse. I'm just worried that we don't trust in our run game enough. Ill shut up and listen to y'all go off on me. But some on here will know what I'm trying to say.

Sean Payton is the Saints coach not Les Miles. Sometimes I think they do fall in love with passing too much but not tonight.

I think we will run more @GB if it comes to pass.

The issue is we have Drew Brees and an awesome passing offense that broke every record in the book this year.

You want to change that?

BTW, PT/Ivory/Sproles were awesome tonight.

Danny Sheridan says the saints have one of the the best running games in NFL, and best chance to beat the packers is in a bad weather game. People know about our running game

I think we can we a shootout with them in a decent climate game, that said...

The Saints run the ball very well. It's not highlighted because of the awesomeness of our passing game. Push coming to shove, @GB, bad weather, Saints have the running advantage over GB hands down.

@SF this week, SF has the advantage running game vs. defense. But we have a HUGE advantage in the passing game.
