good God! somebody needs to screenshot this drivel and show it to him when they don't win the next 10 BCS Championships. for the life of me, i cannot think of an advantage (as a writer) to putting something like this on paper because it is so absurd.

Come Monday night Alabama will be 3-10 against LSU in their last 13 attempts to beat us. Forgive me if I am not intimidated by the 2nd-best program in our division.

While I agree that the article was obviously written by an over the top Bama homer who has a serious man crush on Saban (also how many obvious and unwarranted low blows did he have to throw at Auburn and Chisik?) I do think there is some merit to what he is so poorly trying to convey.
What Saban has done at Bama in his realitively short time there is incredible and as bad as I hate to say it as long as he's there (which a lot of people think he will leave but nobody really knows) Alabama will be a force in college football that will only feed the enormous hubris of people like this writer and other Bama fans that are much, much worse. Now they certainly won't win 10 BCSNC's in a row but I would expect them to contend for SECW & SECC's every year (with a few rebuilding ones mixed in) which we all know means you are in the conversation for the Crystal.
Now having said that I believe that Les has LSU's program in an even better position at this time and with his recruiting skills along with our enormous success over the past decade LSU will also be a contender year after year. Personally I want Bama to remain strong and for Saban to stay there - so Les can continue to bring his DAMN STRONG FOOTBALL TEAM into the State of Alabama and slap old Nicky and the Barners around every couple years!!

I just can't get over the fact how lucky Nick Saban is at Bama. I believe he is a great coach, but because he is never criticized it just makes his job so much easier. People have truly elevated him to football god status (I do think he deserves a lot of the praise, but some need to get his cock out their mouth).
Also LSU is going to win their 3rd BCS title tommorow night (3rd in 9 seasons). They should be the favorites going into next season also (going for their 4th BCS title in 10 seasons).
