IMO Kickers have the ability to have too much of an impact on games at every level. You have 11 guys on both sides of the ball sacrificing there well being on every snap only to have a game cone down to some frick that's been sleeping the whole game. I think it should be examined. frick Kickers

Instead of flaming how about a conversation on the fing topic. Could football go without kickers?

Yep. Look what happened to Stanford as well , left to the kicker. Keep the punter and do away with Fgs altogether.

Even as an LSU fan I think it's dumb how much impact field goal kickers have on a game. Everyone who grew-up playing football fell in love with it in the backyard running, throwing, and tackling each other then the biggest games can be decided by some scrub who couldn't cut it at soccer. Always thought it was a little dumb.

Ahhh that explains this thread, you still haven't forgiven your kicker for missing all those field goals on November 5th.

I can taste your tears and will bathe in them Monday night.

Blame the coach not the kicker. He didn't call his name. If you really think that putting the game on the kicker's leg is too much then why don't you go for it on 4th down.

This question is retarded and u so mad. Special Teams are a part of the game too and Alabama is clearly lacking that phase this year. It may end up costing them.
