A few years back it seemed like they were right there with Oregon as a program that was close to being able to challenge USC for PAC10 supremacy. Then they fell off. Never really knew what happened.
Personally, I'm hoping that they can turn it around quickly... along with UW and ASU, so that the USC reign as the best in that conference isn't uncontested. I don't think that Stanford will be able to sustain their recent success, so other teams are needed to step it up out west to keep USC in check.

Like I said earlier something fishy is going on. No way these kids are passing on USC, Oregon, Stanford, UCLAs of the world to play for Tedford. Just my little theory.

I always pull for more players to play for Cal, Ore, Stanford, etc.... so they can beat USC every year

Cal Berkeley is one of the best public schools in the nation, and right now i bet Cal is about 4th or 5th in the pecking order in Pac-12 behind USC, Stanford, Oregon, and Washington maybe.
