The ribeye is good. Love the andouille sauce that comes with it.

"Much better places within a few blocks"

How about naming a few. Leaning towards the seafood and steak side.

First, do stop at the Bourbon House and have some raw oysters. They're always good there and the shuckers are pretty cool. Otherwise, the food is mediocre for the most part.

Try Dickie Brennan's if open, Mr. B's, etc. All within a block or two.

Thanks. I may just hang around and eat while my wife goes to the game.

Galatoire's is just across the street to the right of the front door, and Red Fish Grill is across and to te left.

I'm sure no one will be eating there today.

Like others have said, oysters (raw and cooked) at the Bourbon House are some of the best in the city. We usually just sit at the bar.

I remember the Turtle soup being outstanding. I think I also had some pretty good fried seafood.

How about getting out of your comfort zone there pnut and make a suggestion. It's so easy to just be a critic.
