yeah, may be too long for the average TD'er to read, but the orange bowl is boring so I figure one or two might plow through it.

Well damn I'm sad for him now ... the way the article ended about his drooping brown eyes and trying to make everyone happy ..

Heck, that makes it sound like he's on the edge.

Here's to HB7 ... do what you do and it's all good.

Wow. Praying for things to go well for him the rest of his life. Stuff like this can really haunt someone their whole life but he's a strong individual!

That's why I read it. I'm glad I did. As the mother of a non-biological son, I have a better understanding of him now.

Thanks for sharing.

It's stories like this that make me angry when people make assumptions about Athletes. I read a similar story a couple years ago about Gilbert Arenas.

Yeah, these guys have become famous, but most of them have been through real shite.

So many kids today are growing up with a roadblock in their path to success. HB7 overcame so much to be in the position he is in today. One love to Tyrann for being able to grow into a successful young man. Let us hope he continues on his path to greatness, because this kid has a special story to spread to other young people.

P.S. Put yourself in his shoes as a kid. Could you have made it out?

This "writer" took advantage of family members willng to talk to him to write an article about some very painful times in this young man's life.

It was obvious that Tyrann was pressed to answer questions about his family that made him uncomfortable.

I can't imagine how hurtful it must be for him to read something like this

This is exploitative journalism and Thayer Evans should be ashamed.

I agree, there was no reason to air out the family's dirty laundry. Tough kid.

Kudos to TM for keeping straight during those tough times. Thing that pisses me off is now mom is trying to position herself for some of that future NFL paycheck. Pisses me off because I knew a lady whose son made an NFL roster and she all of the sudden wanted to be mom of the year. Worked for a while until she almost drained him.

This worries me.

Damn. Sounds like a damn Hallmark movie.

Hope for the best for him the rest of his life.

Geaux Tigers and Geaux Tyrann

I'm sure he's still a "thug" in the eyes of some though. Sad, miserable people.
