Is Devall still being recruited by LSU & what happened...

He's a prototypical 3-4 linebacker. We dont use many linebackers, especially that type. Alabama on the other hand uses them like toilet paper and he'll get good coaching and all, so why wouldnt he?

He wasn't originally from Louisiana, not an LSU fan. Fits better in a 3-4 system anyway. Will do much better at Bama than LSU, imo. It sucks, but probably better for both parties since we need the room. I haven't heard anything about us still actively recruiting him. He's definitely still a take though.

Right after Thanksgiving on a Tuesday, Saban flew to Monroe,La. and then rented a car to drive north to Bastrop to visit Devall in house. He committed as expected. I visited home and everyone told me Devall was all LSU, but, the Rant said he was Bama and he is, he's going to Bama. This was all on the rant too that week.
