Alabama at LSU
Oregon at USC

If everything goes as expected, ESPN won't know what to do with their favorite teams involved in what would surely be promoted as the semifinals

How pissed will LSU fans be when the Alambama-LSU game is a 2 o'clock kickoff on ESPN with Oregon-SC (west coast game) the night cap at 7 o'clock (5 o'clock local)?

Oregon/USC would just be round 1.

Its already set to be a 7 oclock game on CBS bro.

CBS gets first pick of the SEC litter anyway, how do you not know that?

LSU-Bama was prime time CBS this year because CBS and ESPN worked out a deal allowing CBS to flex the game to prime time (It was suppose to be 2:30). In return, ESPN has its pick of one CBS (SEC) game to pick from next year (most certainly LSU-Bama) to air. The time ESPN airs that game is uncertain.

Now, LSU says it has gotten CBS to commit to airing Alabama-LSU in primetime next season as part of its efforts to have as many night games as possible in Baton Rouge.

Apparently LSU/Bama is excluded from the pool of games from which ESPN can choose.

On what ESPN got out of CBS in the deal, spokesman Mike Soltys says: "What we got in return was future scheduling considerations for next season."

I guess we'll see.

ETA: Why is this anchored?

Your deal was never actually in place, just a rumor I think.
