Why wouldn't we have a small offensive package for him?
Could be a jail break screen or a drag route, a reverse and a couple plays that he decoys.
Anything to get him in space and give him a chance similar to a return.

Because he is a defensive starter and kick returner.

He's already on the field a lot. I think we have enough speed and talent on the offensive side of the ball.

Two reasons:
1) distraction -something else for Kirby to think about and to which the defense must react;
2) isn't he the most elusive ball carrier on the team?

Maybe Shep is as elusive but none of the RB's are even close IMO

And you can bet that Nicky is not going to kick anything good to TM7. Either out of bounds or kicked so high that he must fair catch it.

BTW, why the anger "hat"?

Gee I wonder if he would be getting the ball if he came in for offense?

We have enough weapons on O. HB7 needs to be on the sidelines staying hydrated when we have the ball.

i would love to see him used strictly as a decoy. just having him on the field, putting him in motion across the formation, have every alabama defender pointing him out and yelling, and just running our pitch lead. if we can get 2 LBs and a safety to look at TM7 for an extra second, and gain an extra yard or 2, its a success

You never know. Hopefully just for a decoy if so. Wouldn't want him to catch the PP cramps in the biggest game of his life.

Where do these idiots come from and how the hell do we put them back?

Ford laughs at this. TM7 is nowhere near the most elusive runner and even if he was that doesnt make for a good RB/ Wildcat QB

'Bama would probably line up Barrett Jones in the slot as a decoy before LSU puts Mathieu in as a decoy.

...oh wait.

Because he's already all over the field on defense. The man needs to take a breather every now and then.

" Ford laughs at this. TM7 is nowhere near the most elusive runner . . ."

He might laugh but he can't stop on a dime and make cuts like TM7. Look at the videos. Sharp cuts that make DB's break their legs is not part of Ford's game.

OBJ33 might be close to TM7 but no one in the offensive backfield is remotely close to his elusiveness, IMO. That's why he returns punts!
